If I were to examine the Vegan beliefs, then I would say that they don't use animal based products. If that were true, then what about mosquitoes, parasites, bacteria, and other microorganisms that are harmful to human. To the comfort of one by killing another?
Show me your peer reviewed medical/nutrirional journal source that backs up the claim that vegan children attain greater height than meat eating children and also demonstrates how the additional height is beneficial to the childs overall health.

A vegan diet is healthy for babies--these people were just stupid!
I’m a healthy vegan and so is my son. I agree that a vegan diet isn’t to blame for this tragedy. The baby’s parents were just negligent, irresponsible, and downright stupid. Children can thrive on a vegan diet. The American Dietetic Association states that “Well-planned vegan and other types of vegetarian diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including during pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, and adolescence.”
Dr. Benjamin Spock, the author of Baby and Child Care, wrote that “children who grow up getting their nutrition from plant foods rather than meats have a tremendous health advantage. They are less likely to develop weight problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, and some forms of cancer.”
And pediatrician and author Dr. Charles Attwood, says, “Children on a diet of mostly vegetables, fruits, grains, and legumes, when consuming adequate calories, not only grow normally, but have actually been shown to attain greater height than meat-eating children.
Many other health experts and knowledgeable vegan parents know that vegan children can grow up big and strong on a balanced vegan diets.
