Irony
I find it ironic that the name of this girl's school is "Freedom High School." I guess that really means "Freedom ... unless you offend the wrong people."
Even more ironic is the suggestion by the VP of the local chapter of the NAACP (... that's the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) that she name her club the "'European-American Club' so that the focus would be on heritage, not race." Actually that's not really ironic ... hypocritical would be a better word.
