Is it a possibility that in the future, everyone would become just as superstitious and ignorant as the people in the Medieval time. Perhaps they would become more dependent on religion because of the present day super stress.

What are you talking about? Are you saying that the people who are taking their kids out of school are stressed and ignorant and that's why their looking to religion? I don't know for sure, but I'm willing to bet that home school parents are pretty smart and raise some pretty smart kids. But this does show why people are leaving the schools because of attitudes like this.
