The study only refutes the view that they are ignorant. They could still be heartless right-wingers.

Limbaugh's listeners are predominantly Republican, and Condoleeza Rice is a darling of the Bush Administration, and thus of dittoheads. They also either don't realize the Cold War is over, or perhaps wish it would come back, so Russia is more of an obsession with them than the rest of us.

The Pew Research Center does tend to skew conservative - not as bad as some, but unsurprisingly, considering how they're funded. I bet I could devise a similar set of questions in which the Limbaugh audience would finish dead last.
