I had PRK done about a year ago. LOVE not wearing glasses but vision is not quite as sharp as I had with nice, shiny new glasses. One eye went from ~20/650 to 20/25 the other was less extreme and worked better.

I had night time flaring from light sources for close to a year with one eye. Also caused problems with reading for several months, eye fatigue set in quickly.

LASIK would not have these problems but I have cro-magnon eyebrow ridges so was not an option.

All in all, it became an example for me of how medicine should work. I forked over $4k to someone I had reseached and he fixed my problem. Guvmint and insurance are evil.
