This Book Sucks
By far ... I found Absalom, Absalom! to be one of the most pointless literary drivels I have ever read. William Faulkner is the epitome of the crappy author turned famous from the "discovery" of greatness in his so called stream-of-consciousness (aka run-on-sentence) nonsense writing. I haven't read this book in thirteen years and yet it was so awful that I still remember despising it to this day. If ever there is a book-burning near you, this one deserves to be tossed in the flaming pyre.
Ughhh ... I hated this book so badly that now having seen it here this morning, it'll bother me for the rest of this day. We may want the Amazon.com link commission ... but not that badly. Save yourself the pain and read something useful elsewhere on this site.
