Taiwan?

Sooo ... with all the attention on China for the Olympics, wouldn't this be Taiwan's opportune moment to remind the world that they are sitting under/beside China's thumb? If they wanted people to be sympathetic to their desire for recognized independence, now would seem to be the time.

Yeah, but who cares about a boring island like Taiwan when the world got Tibet to be amused by? Besides, everybody loves Buddhists.
