Why

We didn't say which story was the truth - only presenting to people the difficulty of working with the people in the Middle East. Many Americans have no idea what the soldiers overseas have to deal with and wonder why we don't immediately prosecute or detain the folks that do these things. This case is exactly the BS introduced by the insurgents' clever use of information war - whether the Pentagon can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the accusations are false, the Iraqi public will never be told that story and simply continue to see the US forces as invading demons. And people need to understand how this happens just as the American forces on an IA compound were sold out and executed by a death squad (there was a Time that reported on this).
