Switchgrass isn't the only alternative to corn for producing ethanol.

True - but intuition tells me that there is more available space for switchgrass than there is for algae. Unless of course we grow the algae in the vastness of the Pacific in international waters. Curious - what protections there are for doing that?

We've had some major algae plumes from various pollutions including fertilizer runoff. If we can use a pollutant (like gasoline used to be) as a fuel or precursor to a fuel . . . we live in exciting times. Not me per se but other people, with other jobs.

Sigh.
