Who started the ante?

Comment comment by Occams on 02 November 2007

We have been provoking Iran for some time now in the hope that it will give us an excuse to attack.

This is a tactic as old as the Persian hills.

Inevitably a proud country will react to these provocations with rhetoric like this.

I think old Mostafah is probably correct to indicate that such action would destroy the USA, although no doubt Iran would also be destroyed in the process.

The window of opportunity for this is growing shorter. We will only have an administration that is capable of taking advantage of this opportunity for one more year

So much ado about nothing. It only creates economic instability, can't we all see it? It serves no purpose to rattle the diplomatic cage.

For Allah's sake, stop antagonizing those nuts. Take their word. Only once.

Say, sure, we believe you. Your nuclear program is ONLY for peaceful purposes.

And at the latest hint of threatening development, do what Israel does. Strike. Quietly.

I don't recall anyone being outraged when Israel stealthily and quietly bombed a few nuclear sites in the Middle East.
