The article does point out the positive effects of assuming the worst by both doctors and programmers... I think it would be interesting to see, of the people who visit this site, how many are coders or doctors and if married, are they married to a coder or someone in the medical profession...

For example, my father is a mainframe programmer and my mother is a nurse. My wife is in med school and I am a web programmer. I have several pairs of friends who are both nurses or both programmers.

Does the law of attraction actually mean that those who make the world go round by thinking negatively gravitate toward each other?
