Impossible to know... so far

How can we know if there's an objective truth if the word "truth" is such a vague concept? A dictionary deffinition for something like that is just not enough. I believe in science and I beleive in reason and objectivity (I know, that may sound contradictory) but we have to accept that everything is based on human consciousness and maybe in a far future we could go beyond that. What will be next? Maybe objective truth, maybe somrething else.
