The only reason North America is at the top is because of Canada, i live in Europe and everyone always is talking about how good Canada is compaired to the usa. So i went their earlier this year and i discovered that it's legit! the people are so nice and have u seen how clean their cities are?! its insane. but usa is cool too

I have lived in America, Europe and various parts of Asia, but the best place by a large margin is Australia. It is a big, warm, beautiful, friendly, well governed, and highly developed country. It has all the modern benfits of Europe or the USA. The people are cultured, peaceful, sport crazy and generally happy. For some reason they even like Americans. New Zealand is much the same - possbly a litle slower pace of life.

Excellent health and education systems, minimal drug problems, and absence of a gun culture, mean that children have a good chance of growing up safely into productive well-adjusted adults.

Australia ia a well-kept secret. Please don't tell anyone.

The remoteness of Australia is not a disadvantage - it is a large part of the reason why it is still such a great place.
