Absinthe
Right before coming home from Iraq, I and another dude bought a bottle of Czech brewed Absinthe and had it shipped home. You are supposed to drink it after diluting it with water and sugar, and drink slowly so as to not get drunk before the hallucinations start. Well, we got drunk and then tried the Absinthe. It tasted like super-strong liquorice and didn't work. Stupid Oscar Wilde.
