Riding Mower, ipod, and beer.

I don't mind mowing my lawn so much because God invented the riding mower, gave it a cup holder, provided me with beer and an ipod. Of course God also invented the XBox 360 and hath given it Oblivion, so currently my lawn looks like a set from Apocalypse Now.

I really like mowing the lawn. That's why I mow over 1.5 acres with a push mower. I grew up on a farm, and now, because I live more or less "in town", mowing and tending my vegetable garden are the closest things I have to feeling like I'm home. It is also the only real exercise I get. Plus, it is a good opportunity to think about and sort out things I don't get a chance to get to between work, family and reading/learning.
