I feel truly sorry if you are drawn to one of the more banal disciplines, viz. math (number monkeys), physics, chemistry or medicine (really just churched-up witch doctoring).
I would like to go further in stating that engineers and mathmeticians and the like are really not educated per se, rather, are more like skilled labor.
When the "princes" are running around needing Viagra, don't come talk to us, the docs. We'll just prescribe for you a therapeutic history read to meet your needs.

You know History has been described as the "school of princes." What other field can claim such an accolade? I say none. That's right History is not only my favorite topic in the above list, but I will go so far as to say that it is superior to all the rest. I base this on my own set of secret reasons, which are indisputable.
