Here\'s more of a "good idea, bad idea" comment... maybe not applicable, but still cool:

Some sort of picture (<img>) mapped virtual library, with book shelves, in which the book spines are different articles people have submitted.

It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it would work so well as the articles start piling up. Not to mention it's only be cool the first time you see it. After that I think it'd just hinder a person's ability to browse the articles.

And it's not a bad idea. It's one we probably won't implement, but it gets the wheels turning in my head about what we're going to add. So don't hesistate to mention something just because you don't think it'll make it to the site. The thought may lead to something we've yet to think about.
