World War Z

I really liked the approach taken by the author where the Zombie Apocalypse already happened. The book takes a backward look at humanity’s near extinction with an anecdote format where the author is interviewing survivors to get the story. It allows for a massively disjointed number of tales and perspectives without having to tie them together with character interactions or loose plots. By not having to force such drivel, the book takes on a “documentary feel” that is easier to believe and enjoy.

I’d heard the book was good and it proved to be an enjoyable read.
