The Iliad

First, I should say that the version of the Iliad I read used all Roman names for the heroes and gods and that that irked me a great deal. But really, other than being really, really old, I don’t see the draw. It is a good read if you like reading about spears going into people and coming out the other side and then the victim dying. Ye gods, you will love this book. Also, everyone is basically a tool except for Hector.
