ECU Eureka! by VnutZ :: NR8

I will admit, I was able to figure out a lot of this information while doing my research for Improve MPG: The Factors Affecting Fuel Efficiency because I was directly interfacing with the ECU via the OBD II port. However, many of the reasons for the data I was looking at were beyond my reach. This book basically breaks down a modern, computer controlled engine in a developmental approach - allowing anyone with a head for technology and motors to understand exactly why their car's spark timing or fuel pulse width is set the way it is. And after taking you through the why's - the book takes you into the how's of modifying your ECU to extract more performance. While specifically aimed at a the rice-racer genre, the knowledge is applicable to any vehicle.
