Update in White Supremacist Case

A recent story on the CBC website details the hearing of a child custody case involving a mother who sent her daughter to school wearing a swastika, as previously reported on Omninerd.

The mother claims this was to protest alleged discrimination against white people, as evidenced by the presence of minority pride posters and the lack of similar posters celebrating whiteness in her daughter’s school. She also claims social workers were lying when they reported that her daughter was routinely reciting racist and white supremacist rhetoric.

Meanwhile, social workers stated that the children in this home were not given adequate care, citing instances of drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, criminal behaviour, and mental health problems.

White supremacists are themselves a reflection of their own hatred. They tend to be people of inferior social standing having inferior education and a poor sense of social justice.

In order to try to feel good about themselves they need to find another class of people who they can identify as being inferior to them. The Nazis were a classic example.

When our society tries to redress the balance for socially less advantaged groups through some kind of affirmative action, these people will often not qualify for the benefit and so they find another thing to rage about – one of those inferior classes is being given something that they are denied.

This happens all the time. Should we care? I find it hard to do so.
