This Is What Happens When People Claim That Science Is "SETTLED"..
That’s what happens when people jump on the END OF THE WORLD bandwagon.
They end up with egg on their faces…

The wind of time by Travis
Michale,
I read this article and laughed this morning. This is the right-side spin on the whole climate debate and thought this guy is way slow. I’ve heard this argument day one when climate change was called global warming.
Here we are in our little blog-o-sphere arguing our perspective on the matter as if we are the end experts and those that disagree with us must be utterly dumb or with there head in the sand. I find here and elsewhere people are way too emotional to be objective in their arguments and resort to personal attacks and gross generalization. In the end this too will blow over with the wind of time like the 1975 ice age issue.
Can't we all just get along? by Travis
I would consider myself a staunch conservative. Having said that I think many liberals and perhaps other fellow self proclaimed conservatives would be surprised to see how much I would agree with liberals. I suppose where liberals and I disagree about most things are implementation and prioritization.
I’m a firm believer in science, I make my money off science and technology, especially as it evolves. I believe we are all stewards of this planet, though as stewards we are the top of the food chain not the food. I know climate changes but that’s why I don’t think you can mandate law premised off climate. We should help our fellow man, but not forced to. Health care is screwed up, yet lift health care no lower it’s standards. So on and so on….
I know that these are simple sound bite statements, but my point is that there could be some rather effective and healthy debate if we could become more objective and rational with our arguments rather than ram rod agendas with out critical thinking and positive criticism.
A Little Dissapointed.. by gnifyus
I’m sort of disappointed with you for posting an article like that. Why do you think another opinion-y blog is going to cause anyone to eat crow? It’s just an exercise in confirmation bias and more or less sums up what you’ve been saying all along. At least post an article like this one that has lots of charts and graphs to support the conspiracy theory.) It even mentions your nemesis Al Gore in a disparaging tone.. :-)
But really, as I said before, let’s not let all this negative bias thwart something that almost everyone thinks is important: Energy source diversity and conservation whenever possible and discovering new ways to do it.
