The Rise of Chad Vader
There are not many who haven’t heard of the Star Wars arch-villain Darth Vader. But how many of you have heard of his little brother, Chad … Chad Vader? The answer is evidently quite a lot. The parody films, which depict Chad Vader as a struggling supermarket shift manager, have been viewed approximately 9.5 million times on YouTube and MySpace, making Chad Vader – Day Shift Manager quite the Internet sensation. It has become so popular, in fact, that both of the series creators are able to quit their jobs and begin contract negotiations with an undisclosed major media outlet. In the six episodes of Chad Vader we watch as the awkward Sith Lord argues with his colleagues, weirds-out= the customers, and has problems looking for love, despite his impressive array of telekinetic powers, not to mention the lightsaber.
