Music Purchase Log: 2012 Q2

Music I purchased in the second quarter of 2012:

  • Bear Vs Shark – Right Now, You’re in the Best of Hands
  • Beecher – Breaking the Fourth Wall
  • Bled, The – Heat Fetish
  • Bullets and Octane – In the Mouth of the Young – Some good tunes, but not enough of them. It’s almost like they’re forcing it to work.
  • Bush – Sea of Memories – Nice to see they’re back in action, but this is one I probably won’t return to often. Not that I regret getting it; my tastes have just moved on.
  • Damned Things, The – Ironiclast
  • Fleet Foxes – Helplessness Blues
  • Neon Trees – Habits – Seriously good.
  • New Found Glory – Radiosurgery
  • Mars Volta – Noctourniquet – I’m going to mourn for days if it turns out I never get to see these guys in concert.
  • Melt Banana – Cell-Scape – I don’t know how a screaching Japanese chick works … but it does.
  • Meshuggah – Kolos
  • Much the Same – Survive
  • TesseracT – One
  • Viva Death – One Percent Panic – I’ve had two of their songs for years – always meaning to get a full album. And, now that I did, I wish that I didn’t.
  • War of Ages – Eternal
  • Warm in the Wake – American Prehistoric
  • Wilhelm Scream, A – Career Suicide & Ruiner – I like the former a ton. The other is decent.
