Think your family has got problems? Well, you obviously haven't met Shiloh McMillan, a man whose family put the white in white trash...and maybe the trash as well. From the comedic mind that brought you such classics as A Snarky Halloween History and I, Lucifer, Nick Dilmore's latest production is sure to leave you chuckling, if a bit alarmed. And as but the first of a multi-installment chronicle, don't worry if Leaving Lemon: A White Trash Odyssey leaves you yearning for more trailer-park antics and "hill country ass-beatings." So, join Shiloh, Mom, Dad and incoherent Uncle Butch for a first-look into the wild world of Lemon, PA.
funny..I had to be careful and not laugh at loud at a few points..now if you can just work Meshoppen and Mehoopany into the story. You already got Laceyville..(yeah, I know where it is..)
This is the second supposed serial I've read on this site. Is this one going to have a follow-up? If so, when? I don't like starting stories, only to be left hangin'.
the website for Tunkhannock,PA. It's pretty interesting..... Sadly I couldn't find a website for Lemon. I'm curious to find out if the author of this story has ever actually been to these places.
I'm not quite sure what to say to this. I laughed, I cried. I cried some more. Literally.
It is literary genius, the writing style is superb, it tells the tale of the McMillan family in a very unique way.
I guess reading about your family, especially when it is so beyond dysfunctional, is kind of hard to swallow.
