Bachelor of Science in UFOs
People often joke about Underwater Basket Weaving as a college course when referring to seemingly deadbeat students whittling away time and money at university. Perhaps it is just an urban legend, but it can’t be denied that colleges often offer some very unusual course material. Adding to the ante of questionable studies are UFO Studies, which anthropologist professor Philip Haseley insists are a legitimate subject for instruction. His rationale cites the ever increasing volume of sightings around the world as evidence of the phenomena that can be studied for both UFO science and human anthropologic purposes. Perhaps UFO Photographs: Signs of an Alien Invasion will one day be required university reading.

It’s definitely reasonable from a sociological or anthropological perspective to study the UFO “sub-culture.” Why not?
