Arizona's Immigration Policy
The governor of Arizona recently signed a new bill that dramatically cracks down on illegal immigration. Almost immediately following the bill’s passage, protests began with chants of “we have rights” and “we are human” while questioning what constitutes legal justification for spot testing a person’s citizenship. Naturally, the critics have also jumped on the bandwagon calling the new laws a path to legalized racial profiling. Even President Obama has toed up to the line, acknowledging that illegal immigration is a problem but declaring Arizona has taken the wrong approach to solving it. So what gives – for decades people have complained about immigration and now when a state takes action, they’re demonized for it. What IS the right way?

Whose problem is it. by Occams
Illegal immigration would not be such a serious problem if the illegals earned proper wages and paid taxes. If they don’t do that it is the employers fault. The people who exploit foreign workers are the real culprits in all this. People like us.
