Nalpara

This painting was the first to be done with the intention of being sold. Thus, the name is appropriately Korean for "Sell Me." The style is similar to that of my previous painting, Dad's Office,1 but much larger with a brighter, aquarium-esque (per my wife) color theme.

Greewibrofra

Greewibrofra, or Brown Frame for the conventionally minded, is what it is: green with a brown frame. While painting this piece, I paused for a very anxious hour deciding whether or not to fill in the canvas completely or leave a rugged, unpainted strip between the frame and green. Obviously, I opted for the former, although I still wonder how the latter would have impressed me. Call it painter's remorse.

Red

This is the only piece (thus far) that represents almost exactly what I envisioned before starting. It was very difficult to name, though.

Allnight Braveheart

Allnight Braveheart was also clearly pictured before starting, but the red and blue stripes were off the cuff. I started the painting in the evening and progressed reasonably fast from the top through the middle. The lower half, however, ended up taking much longer and before I knew it, my wife was asleep on the couch and the movie she had been watching was over. I took her to bed and started Braveheart - the extra long network version. The credits rolled as I finished the last stripe, just after 5am.2
